Leadership and Emotional Intelligence

When describing what makes a leader successful in today’s modern organisations - time after time their level of emotional intelligence is listed way before their intelligence, their experience or their areas of specialism

A leader with a high level of emotional intelligence is able to recognise their own strengths and weaknesses (and those of others), accurately interpret what is going on around them and choose how to react in any situation

In this session we explore

  • the world of Emotional Intelligence and how you can use this information to help raise your own awareness of a situation and more accurately ‘read’ what is going on.

  • noticing and identifying emotions and how to use these valuable pieces of information.

  • how to increase your own levels of Emotional Intelligence so that you are able to ‘respond’ rather than ‘react’ in a situation.

What past Leadership School participants have said:

I wanted to thank you again for two incredible personal development days, I took away so many ‘light bulb’ moments I think I could light up my home town!
