Take a look at our “Pressing Pause” event held at The Olive Shed on Wed 12 Dec 2018

At this time of year we can be so wrapped up in rushing around that we don’t stop and think about what we might do or could do if we had enough time. There just doesn’t seem to be enough time!

And we don’t always stop for breath or press the pause button – in either our home or our work lives!

One of the themes that has come out of our work with busy leaders is the difficulty in finding time to pause and remember what is most important to us.

Much has been written about the importance of us building 'pause' time into our lives - indeed in his book 'The Pause Principle' Kevin Cashman talks about 'stepping back to be able to lead forward'

And there is a lovely quote from the world of music that says: 'the pause is as important as the note'

So our theme for this Leadership School Round Table breakfast event was to do just that - to press pause, reflect on all that was 2018 and re-connect with the things that are most important to us so that we are setting ourselves up to face the New Year and 2019 with confidence

After all - December should be the month of celebration and fun and (as Ronald Dahl said): “A little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest men”

Having the time to think outside of the office.
The atmosphere is always safe, calm and warming
